Emily Irene VanCamp, who initially wanted to become a professional dancer, became interested in the acting field when she hung out with her sister Katie on the Ladies Room set. The actress began taking acting classes. She also got guest spots on TV series in her homeland Canada. The TV shows she starred in include Are You afraid to be in the Dark? Radio Active. VanCamp's career exploded after he was cast as Sam Dolan, a regular in the series WB Horror Mystery Glory Days.
